Bernita Berntsen

Bernita is a surgeon at the Tallgrass Surgical Center in Topeka. She graduated from Pittsburg State University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She has advanced training in GI laparoscopic surgery, breast surgery, and bariatric surgery.

Bernita is board certified in General Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons.

She grew up on a farm in southeast Kansas and has an interest in conservation.

We invite you to participate and contribute to our conservation efforts and keep Audubon of Kansas moving forward.
