Joyce Davis

Joyce is a retired librarian, having graduated from Kansas State Teachers College, and then the University of Illinois. She has been active in several Audubon chapters, and is currently a member of the Wichita Audubon Society.

Joyce has traveled throughout the United States, as well as abroad, to places including Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. She is presently a member of The National Audubon Society, The Nature Conservancy, The National Wildlife Federation, The Kansas Wildflower Society, and she supports the Chaplin Nature Center. Joyce is a charter member of the AOK board, and supports Audubon because “it encourages citizens to collect scientific information".

She now lives in Dodge City, creating wildlife habitat in her yard, leading local bird and wildflower trips, and doing bird counts for national reports.

Joyce also enjoys birds, wildflowers, quilts, libraries and museums, and likes to read fantasy, science fiction, and mystery books.

We invite you to participate and contribute to our conservation efforts and keep Audubon of Kansas moving forward. Your tax-deductible contributions and volunteer efforts sustain our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are essential to all aspects of our work—from advocacy, legislative liaison, education, and support of wildlife-friendly landowners, to our office staff, publications and website. We need your commitment!
