Donald E. Heikes

Don is a retired banker and Major in the Army National Guard. He serves on the Executive Committee of Audubon of Kansas, and has held many offices in his community including City Treasurer of Lenora, Norton County Hospital Board of Trustees, and Mayor of Lenora.

He is involved in agriculture, operating part of his family farm, and birding--attending the Wings N Wetlands Birding Festival, visiting the Flint Hills, Konza Prairie, and many other Kansas locations.

Don enjoys painting, woodworking, singing, photography, traveling, and antique collecting.

We invite you to participate and contribute to our conservation efforts and keep Audubon of Kansas moving forward.
