John Schukman John is a building contractor for custom new homes and remodeling in Leavenworth. He has both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Fort Hays State University in ornithology, and Secondary Teaching Certification from Kansas State University. John helped establish and was past president of the Leavenworth Audubon Society. He is also a member of the Lansing Lions, and enjoys contributing to ornithological research by conducting Breeding Bird Surveys, Winter Bird Counts, Surveys for AOK, and the Kansas Biological Survey. John supports AOK to improve the ecological integrity of Kansas.
