Don has served as Chairman and Senior Economist of DPRA Inc., a
research and environmental consulting firm headquartered in Manhattan.
He was a founding member of DPRA in 1971, and has helped the company
grow immensely.
He has authored or co-authored more than 80 technical research
projects. Don is also a founder and past president of the Grain
Industry Alliance. Don graduated from Michigan State University
and Kansas State University with his doctorate in Economics.
“Since growing up on a farm in Michigan, I have always been
interested in wildlife conservation, and am pleased to associate
with Audubon of Kansas.” He has also served on the Kansas
State University Research Foundation, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce,
and as president of the Rotary Club. He is active in many other
civic organizations, such as the Friends of the Konza, and the Arts
Center.
