Volunteer Opportunities are a great way to get involved with the work of Audubon of Kansas and conservation efforts in your area.

Conservation Work

  • Participate in “work days”  at our Wildlife Sanctuaries: Invasive plant removal, native plant gardening, trail maintenance, naturalist (nature/bird walk facilitator or program speaker)
  • Help facilitate citizen science programs on endangered/threatened species
  • Participate in our semi-annual Black Footed Ferret Surveys in Logan County

Office work

  • Help us with mailings, website updating, event registration, special projects
  • Edit publications/newsletters

Special Events

  • Participate at educational seminars or recreational events
  • Offer to facilitate workshops relating to nature, art, science
  • Offer to be a program speaker or panelist
